About

Hi there! I am a creative and optimistic individual who has always been driven to lead and inspire others. Throughout my life, I have had a passion for exploring new ideas, experimenting with different forms of expression, and pushing the boundaries of what is possible. Whether it's through photography, art, or music, I am always looking for new ways to channel my creativity and inspire others to do the same.

When I set my mind to something, I give it my all and never give up until I achieve my goals. Whether it's a personal project, a team endeavor, or a professional challenge, I approach it with a positive and can-do attitude, and I am always ready to go the extra mile to make it happen.

I am also a natural leader who enjoys helping others achieve their full potential. I believe that everyone has unique gifts and talents and that it's our job as leaders to help others discover and cultivate them. Whether it's through mentoring, coaching, or simply leading by example, I am always looking for ways to empower and inspire those around me to reach for the stars and achieve their dreams.

  • Photoshop and I go way back. I began my journey with graphic design back at the early launch of Photoshop 7 (2002). I come from a family of car lovers, so I got started by taking images of cars and customizing them to my liking in Photoshop.

From there, I started making my own logos and began dabbling in Illustrator. By 2007, I had started my first "business" creating graphics and logos for professional e-sports gaming teams. By 2009, I was just starting freshman year and was sure to sign up for Computer Graphics and ROP Web Design as my first two electives.

Fast forward to 2010, I began working part-time for our new local performing arts center as a graphic designer, creating posters, flyers, rack cards, handouts, and more. I continued working this job part-time while also working through my time at Bose and Best Buy. Once I left Best Buy, I took on a full-time role at the theater as their lead Graphic Designer, adding the Newsletters, Season Brochures, and show programs to my ever-growing list.

Since leaving the theater, most of my design capabilities have been focused on my personal business SYNC Records. I created the entire website, all assets, marketing materials, album artwork, merch, and more, and continue working on it each day.

I fully plan to utilize my knowledge and resourcefulness to continue growing and learning new techniques to assist with my current and future endeavors.

  • Photography and graphic design seem to go hand-in-hand for me. I've always been fascinated by macro photography in particular. Being able to witness small objects most don't take the time to notice in extreme detail and up close can just be so interesting and beautiful.

The day Instagram was released for Android devices was a day I'll never forget. Finally having an outlet to showcase my work easily was incredibly helpful when it came to receiving feedback and building my skills.

Soon after, I signed up for Digital Photo as one of my electives in High School. I passed all photography classes (including both AP Photo classes) with straight A's and still have one of my photos hanging on the classroom wall as an example to this day (this same photo also won me $500 in an MSN photography contest and multiple ribbons at our county fair).

  • Music runs in my blood (and my family). With multiple musicians for aunts and uncles, and my own father having an extensive background as a drummer, I was bound for a musical lifestyle early on.

I had taken multiple years of drum lessons starting at around 10 years old and was gifted my first drum set for Christmas of that year. A few years later, I picked up the guitar, and a few years after that, the piano.

I knew I had a love for creating music, but it was difficult to get the band together and create what was really going through my head. I needed to find a way to produce my own music and have full control over all of the sounds used.

Shortly after graduating high school,  I began my first year at the Academy of Arts University in San Fransico studying Modern Day Music Composition and Production for New Media. From there, I was able to learn what software and hardware I needed and how to use it, I better understood music theory and song structure, and I could finally create a full piece from the ground-up all on my own. It was exactly what I needed.

Since then, I've been producing my own music and have released a few albums, but am still learning and growing with each song I produce. I have also used my previous experience and talents to build my own record label that focuses on newer producers that need help getting started. The label offers the tools needed for these artists to create their brand and online presence while distributing their music globally for all to hear. Quite a few of our past artists have already built a name for themselves through the label and are now releasing with larger mainstream record labels and have gained millions of followers.

  • While I consider myself a casual gamer (I typically stick with FPS's like Battlefield or more story-driven games with high-quality graphics), I feel I appreciate videogames for more than what most people would enjoy them for (the gameplay or story most likely).

When I play a game, most of my attention is on the graphical fidelity, attention to detail, lighting, audio, and gameplay mechanics. I have such a passion for visual design and have also worked in multiple game engines (Unreal Engine 5, CryEngine 3, Unity), I like to really appreciate the amount of time and work that goes into the environments and overall atmospheres.

For a long time, I wanted my career to be in 3D Environmental Design, as I had a love for crafting landscapes and creating something believable and immersive.

I don't spend much time playing video games, but when I do, I ensure it'll be worth my time and will offer some sort of insight that I can take away from it and use in my future projects.

  • Food has always been a huge source of dopamine for me and I come from a family of wine lovers, so you can see where this is going.

While I enjoyed cooking at home now and then, it didn't really become a hobby of mine until I moved out of my parent's house. Having total freedom to cook what I want, when I want, and how I want really allowed me to tap into my creative side.

When it comes to wine, I've built an appreciation for the art of winemaking and the wine itself. I spent about a year or so working at my local BevMo! and learned a lot about the different varietals and blends. At one point I had wanted to become a professional Sommelier and offer tastings.

Knowing the wines and pairing them with a homemade meal just ticks all of my creativity boxes and makes me feel fancy.
