Web Design

Scroll down to see a collection of both standard and fully-responsive websites I've created using Wix and Editor X.

SYNC Records is an independent record label I founded back in 2017 specializing in electronic music genres such as house, dubstep, lofi, and everything in between.

I have been using Wix/Editor X for all of my website and business needs. The current version of the site was built using Editor X.

I created the initial website for the label using my existing knowledge of Wix.com and the Wix Editor, together with my background in graphic design. There was never a time when I thought it was "done," as the website was always changing as my knowledge and abilities increased along with the label. Up until Wix's more complex builder (Editor X) was made available as a beta, it gradually grew more structured and refined as I gained a better understanding of web design principles.

I seized the opportunity the moment the Editor X beta was made available to the general public and got to work on the website's next revision. One that was completely dynamic, content-rich, and responsive. Although the site you see below is the one that is now in use, it initially had an entirely different appearance.

Since then, the site has undergone several changes and iterations, with the one you see below being the most recent. To maintain consistency throughout the website and any promotional or marketing materials, I've developed a new set of brand rules that, in my opinion, best represent the label as it is right now.

To get a better idea of page structure and design, take a look at some samples from the site below.

Home Page

The first page you see when visiting the site. It showcases our latest releases, blog posts, call to action, ways to join our community, and quick access to our shop.

Dynamic Album Pages & Artist Roster

The Music page showcases a list of our latest releases. Each release is dynamically linked to its own respective Album page that displays additional information on the track and includes links to stream it online and follow the Artist. The Roster page works in a similar fashion, as it showcases a list of our Artists with each artist linked to their own dynamic profile page.

The SYNC Records website has plenty of content, including staff-only pages that include training materials, e-learnings, job aids, and additional resources to assist them with their responsibilities. You can view the full site below.

Voyage Music Group is a music collective that offers services to music producers that they can use to advance their music careers and spend more time focusing on their craft.

The Voyage Music Group website includes a standard home page, a shop, and a services page. Artists can view the mission of the collective, recent collaborations, and press articles from the home page and use a pull-out hamburger menu to navigate between pages.

The site is fully responsive and built using Editor X. It looks and works great on all devices and fits the brand identity of VMG. Each page aligns with the brand and style desired by the owner of the collective.

The Voyage Music Group home page showcases their latest collaborations, press releases, and a place to submit a demo.

Home Page

The home page is a simple landing page displaying the company's mission and its featured products.

Resources & Shop Pages

The site not only includes a shop full of custom-made products designed by me, but also a resources page that shares multiple helpful articles to be confident in your knowledge of the pandemic and how to stay safe when you may be considered "high-risk". Both pages look great on desktop and mobile.

High Risk Apparel was a project created during the early part of the COVID-19 pandemic. The purpose of High Risk was to provide PPE and clothing that would allow at-risk individuals to comfortably leave the house while their clothing helps keep their social distance from others.

Items range from masks and shirts to hats and jackets and came in various colors and styles.

The High Risk Apparel website includes a standard home page, a shop, an about page, and a resources page with information on how to stay safe during the pandemic. The merchandise was all designed by me as well as the entire site.

The company was thought of by a high-risk individual who didn't have the luxury of living a regular life during the pandemic, as it was difficult to trust people to also take the necessary precautions to remain safe. Having bright and easy-to-read clothing that asked for space before having to verbally ask someone removed a lot of stress and allowed them to feel comfortable enough to leave the house again.

The site was built using the standard Wix Editor and looks great on both desktop and mobile devices. The store was built by me with specific categories for easy filtering. The theme, colors, fonts, and logo were also created by me.

You can see some of the primary aspects of the site by scrolling down below.
